  4. Hi I am not worried but since i was 11 this boy kept asking me out throughout the year i am now 15 from the age 11 to 14 he consistently asked me out and the more he asked me, the more i was put off I eventually got one of my friends to tell him to stay away and from July 2015 to may 2016 also someone told him where I live and he has come to my door twice and it scared me but July 2015 he did however on my 15th birthday in june 2016 he said can You come and see me at lunch or break . I said nothing as i had to go to class but I never went, I couldn’t pluck up the courage. We haven’t Spoke since but after school he just stands and stares at and he only stops when me friend block his eye line and this has been going on for 3 weeks solid. I have spoke to him and told him to move on but I have found out that he still likes me. I am not worried as my friends are protective of me from him (what do I do and is it stalking or does he just not know how to speak to me. As he does have extra help by teachers I have spoke to friends and parents and I think that teachers have overheard.

    • Hi J
It’s difficult for me to give you advice in this forum without knowing all the important details. I’m glad you are taking steps to let others know and that you’ve told him to stop. It sounds like it is still making you uncomfortable. I really think you should talk to your teachers or any counsellors you may have at school and see if they can help you (and perhaps also help him to manage the situation, too).
      Best wishes
      Shona

  5. Hi Shona,

Thank you for this call to honesty and integrity! I’m going into honours and hopefully will be an intern after that.

I hope, like you, that the psychological profession remains helpful to clients and patients. I also hope that our ranks are filled with courageous, good-intentioned people who create trust and help others face their fears. This will differentiate us from clandestine online counselling services and any other unregulated untrained groups who aim to help people without understanding their needs.

  6. Good day,

I think your books are awesome and much needed. I wish I could buy them, and I do hope many parents will and discuss these things with their kids. I wish there were more of these things available.

  7. Good morning Shona

Yesterday I borrowed from our local library “Your mind is like a garden” and just loved the beautiful messages in it.
I would like to purchase a copy of this wonderful book for my grandaughter.
Is it possible for either my daughter or sister who both live at Buderim to collect it from you as the postage to our farm is too expensive?

Thank you for the wonderful work you do.
    Kind regards
    Margaret O’Reilly

  9. Dear Shona and Co.
I live in Hungary and would be happy to order all of your books but as I saw, the delivery would be really expensive from Australia. Is there any way to manage it?
    Thank you,

Are they hardcover or paperback versions?
Do you deliver to Australia and if so,what is the cost of postage?
